ISF @ IILF 2026 - A Report

The Indian Shoe Federation (ISF) marked a strong and impactful presence at LEATHERWEEK 2026 (29 Jan – 3 Feb, Chennai), reaffirming its leadership in advancing India’s footwear ecosystem. Through participation in international workshops, industry seminars, the Brand Symposium, and the LERIG Conclave, ISF highlighted the importance of sustainability, circular economy, innovation, and digital transformation across the value chain.

The inauguration of the ISF Pavilion at IILF 2026 and the release of the flagship publication SHOEMAKER 2026 were key milestones, attracting wide industry engagement and global attention. ISF also conducted the Jury Evaluation of the ISF Shoe Design Award 2026, promoting design excellence and emerging talent.

Overall, ISF’s initiatives during LEATHERWEEK strengthened industry collaboration, global visibility, and India’s positioning as a competitive, sustainable, and innovation-driven footwear hub.
